I’m Danielle Fisher and am so glad that you have taken time out to visit our page. Creations by Jimmy’s Daughter, LLC was created out of the encouragement and gentle push from my beautiful daughter and some sister-friends. I love creating wreaths and used to make them years ago for gifts and even sold a few, but stopped because I became overwhelmingly busy raising boy/girl twins. Now the twins are in college, and I needed to do something for me and this seemed to be the perfect time to jump in. So while I only used to make them for Christmas, I thought I would try my hand at other seasons too, and LOVE it. I still work a full-time, stressful job, so I thoroughly enjoy the peace that the creative process brings me.
My goal is to make unique creations for you to enjoy in your home. One of my rules/policies is to never make duplicates. They may be similar, but there is always something a little different to make them uniquely yours. I do hope that you feel the love that I try put in each one.
So where did the name of the business come from?? My Dad (Jimmy) was larger than life to me. He was a World War II Vet and a pretty quiet man, unless he had an audience to listen to him talk about his favorite topic....African-American history. He loved his family and was the best example of what an honorable man should be...and yes, I am his babygirl. The Lord blessed me to have him for 40 plus years until his passing at age 93, several years ago. I have named my business to honor his memory. I do hope that he is smiling down from heaven and is proud of his daughter. My 88 year-old Mother is one of my biggest supporters and calls herself my “silent partner”....gotta love her!
